Out of Stock

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Cardisure Is a prescription medication that is used to treat canine congestive heart failure (CHF) originating from valvular insufficiency (mitral and/or tricuspid regurgitation) or dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). It is also used to treat pre-clinical DCM in large breed dogs and dogs with evidence of increased heart size secondary to asymptomatic (preclinical) myxomatous mitral valve disease.

Cardisure is a vasodilator, which means that it relaxes the blood vessels and makes it easier for the heart to pump blood. It also increases the contractility of the heart muscle, which helps the heart to pump more blood with each beat.

Cardisure is available as a flavored tablet that is given orally once daily. The dosage is based on the dog's weight.

Cardisure is generally well-tolerated by dogs. However, some side effects may occur, such as vomiting, diarrhea, and increased thirst. More serious side effects, such as arrhythmias, can occur in rare cases.

If you are considering giving your dog Cardisure, it is important to talk to your veterinarian. They can help you determine if Cardisure is the right medication for your dog and can answer any questions you have about the medication.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind about Cardisure:

  • It is a prescription medication and should only be given to dogs under the supervision of a veterinarian.
  • It is important to give Cardisure at the same time each day.
  • If you miss a dose, give it as soon as you remember. Do not give your dog two doses at once.
  • If you have any questions or concerns about giving your dog Cardisure, talk to your veterinarian.
