Upon employment of SAPARD aid allocations granted in 2004, a pet food manufacturing shop was set up that was equipped with the most advanced production line of extruded pet food with an output capacity of 2.3-2.7 t/h. In 2014, in the process of upgrading the factoryās production and enhancing labor efficiency, the newest and leading-edge Italian packaging equipment Fisker was installed with the output capacity of 600 pieces of packaging/h. The entire manufacturing process is automated, monitored, and digitally analyzed, which eliminates any divergence from standard or error.
In 2005, the State Food and Veterinary Service of the Republic of Lithuania issued approval to AKVATERA LT, UAB which granted the right to export the feed bearing marking LTāÆ35-103 to countries within the European Union and the Customs Union.
